If you happen to be an Elder Scrolls Online player, then here is some good news for you – you will be on the receiving end of 5 days of free game time as part of the ‘compensation’ after a slew of issues accompanied the game’s launch earlier in the month. For those who register before 8 p.m. ET today and happen to be in possession of active accounts are able to redeem all five free days, once again lending credence to the proverb where the early bird gets the worm.
It must also be noted, however, that all players ought to still remain within the game’s initial 30-day free trial period, which also happens to be another requirement when it comes to redeeming the free days. Developer ZeniMax is keeping its fingers crossed that this particular move will be able to make up for its recently-fixed quest blockers and bugs, not to mention disappearing bank slots and current issues which concern the presence of gold-farming bots.
Director Matt Firor shared, “We recognize that some of the launch issues affected the early gameplay experience of a number of players. Fixing these problems required us to take the megaservers offline, costing players time in the game. In recognition of this experience and to show our gratitude to everyone who supported the launch, we are giving an additional five days of included game time.”
