Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls for the console is expected to be released later this year in August. This is several months after the PC version was released, but we guess console gamers have no choice but to wait for now. Hopefully future console games by Blizzard won’t take so long. That being said, if you’re wondering how the game might play on the console, you’re in luck because a gameplay trailer for the console version of the game has been released.
For those who have played the game before on console, we guess this is nothing new. However if you haven’t, you can check it out in the video above. Some have speculated that Diablo 3 was designed for consoles in mind, and based on the controls of the game, it certainly seems that way. The Reaper of Souls expansion will also introduce gamers to the Crusader class, which is a bit like the barbarian, except that he can cast spells.
The expansion will also introduce bounties and nephalem rifts, which are basically activities that gamers can take part in once they have completed the story. This provides gamers with a more rewarding experience when it comes to farming for legendary items and whatnot. Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition will also allow gamers to transfer their characters from previous-gen consoles onto the PS4 or Xbox One.
