Diablo 3 can be a pretty frustrating game since it usually involves a lot of grinding and farming, and leaving a lot to chance, especially since the drops in the game are pretty much RNG. Well the good news is that if you were a little frustrated at trying to farm for gear, perhaps the latest Diablo 3 Patch 2.0.5 could be worth checking out.
Blizzard has recently rolled out the patch to the game and along with the usual bug fixes and class revisions, Blizzard has also made changes to the way legendary items drop. For instance, Blizzard has made it so that Horadric Caches now have a higher chance of dropping legendary items if you were to acquire the caches on a higher Torment level.
This is compared to before where players could run through Normal mode to get Horadric Caches and still stand the same chance of getting the same loot. Blizzard has also made changes to Kadala, the NPC that players can gamble with, where she will also be able to dispense Torment-only legendaries, as well as being able to dispense class-specific weapon types to reduce the randomness of the game.
Other changes Blizzard has made includes increasing the number of Blood Shards from Horadric Caches (used to gamble for items with Kadala), as well as increasing the number of Blood Shards that are dropped by Rift Guardians from Torment II through VI, giving players more incentive to play through the higher Torment levels.
