When it comes to custom ROMs on the Android platform, there are different options to choose from, but many people have stuck to the CyanogenMod range for reasons such as stability as well as a relatively robust community. Well, we are pleased to bring you word that CyanogenMod 11 M6 is ready for download, and will be an improvement over its predecessor, the CyanogenMod 11 M5 version. Apart from that, it is also more stable than the nightly builds, since the “M” badge when it comes to its builds tend to be more stable generally when it comes to daily use, but is not quite good enough to end up as a Release Candidate.
For those who are curious and would like to kill a proverbial cat, then you might want to check out the CyanogenMod page to see whether your device will play nice with the latest CyanogenMod 11 M6 update or not. Do bear in mind that not all smartphones or tablets that features a nightly build will be on the receiving end of the M6 build, hence the wisdom in performing a double check.
We are quite sure that some bug fixes have been introduced in the CyanogenMod 11 M6 build, especially since it is already in the later stages of development. As for the file size of the M6 update, that too, depends on the kind of Android device that it will run on.
