A bug or a weakness in a particular app is not something that everyone would want to have, in fact, they would most probably like to see that particular bug squashed as soon as possible. The iMessage bug has certainly caused some folks grief in recent times as they saw how their text messages disappeared, leading to a lawsuit being filed against Apple in the process. Having said that, Apple has stepped forward to announce that they are working on a fix.
I suppose this is better than nothing at all, but with no particular specific window of time as to when the fix will be released, life will still have to move on as usual, iMessage bug or otherwise. Definitely not the kind of messaging ecosystem that folks can rely on if they were to ensure that whatever communication made over formal channels will remain on their smartphones and tablets as part of the records down the road. Still, if you have been stuck with the Apple ecosystem for the longest time already, wold something like the iMessage bug actually cause you to think about jumping over to the “dark side”?
Hopefully the folks over at Apple will be able to get this bug fix out, and fast!
