Back in 2013, we had heard the rumors that Samsung could be working on a tablet with a 13.3-inch display. Samsung would not be the first to the market with a tablet of that size, but it is still an interesting choice nonetheless since tablets usually come in smaller sizes. That being said, the folks at GSMArena have recently managed to get their hands on the specs of said tablet, which has been codenamed “Warhol”.
Their sources have provided them with details about said device, which has the model number T911 and T910, with the former being a 3G model, while the latter will be the WiFi model. Also, it should be noted that because of the T-model status, there is a good chance that this will be part of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab lineup, instead of Samsung’s Galaxy Note lineup.
The full specs of the tablet remain unknown, but the display size has been “confirmed”, which is set at 13.3-inches and will feature a display resolution of 2560×1600. It also appears that the Warhol tablet will use an LCD display, as opposed to a Super AMOLED display like the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S.
Unfortunately other than that, not much else is known about the device, such as its processor, camera, storage, and so on. No word on when we might expect it to be launched either, but hopefully more details will be revealed soon. There is also a small chance that Samsung might take this opportunity to announce it at IFA 2014 which is still quite far off, but hopefully we won’t have to wait too long.
