The special white and gold edition of the BlackBerry Q10 was previously only available in Dubai but thanks to a sighting posted on the CrackBerry forums, it looks like the device has made its way into the UK, although there has not been any word as to whether it will make its way stateside, although there have been rumors hinting that it will soon be released to other BlackBerry stores around the world.
The phone itself does not come cheap as it is being sold unsubsidized and unlocked, meaning that you will not be obligated to any carrier, but will have to pay full price for it. Wondering how much it will cost you? Try £660 which when converted is roughly $1,110. Yikes! The innards of the phone is expected to remain the same as its regular counterpart, but it’s design is where it will differentiate itself.
According to the description, “Crafted using the finest quality materials, the Special Edition Gold and White BlackBerry Q10 delivers exceptional performance in an exclusively designed smartphone. The white microdot patterned back provides extra grip and contrasts beautifully with the brilliant gold colouring. A certificate of authenticity, matching gold-trimmed leather case, premium headset, and an exclusive smartphone PIN starting with “777” make this edition truly special.”
So, any takers?
