Verizon Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 Hits The FCC

The FCC has revealed a Samsung SM-T337V tablet that has gained their collective nod of approval, and it just so happens to feature the Verizon logo right on the back of the device, too. Going by the model number SM-T337V, this happens to be an LTE-ready version of the newly announced Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, which just goes to show how Samsung intends the masses in LTE markets to surf with blazing fast speeds on their new tablet.

Needless to say, since the SM-T337V already carries the Verizon brand at the back of the tablet, it will also support Verizon’s LTE bands (band 4 and 13). It would be a pretty safe assumption to mention that other than that, everything else about this particular tablet would more or less remain identical to that of the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 that will arrive later this quarter across the world.

Here is a quick refresher just in case you missed all the action concerning the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 – it will be powered by Android 4.4 KitKat as the mobile operating system of choice, carrying an 8” display at 800 x 1280 pixels, has a 3MP camera at the back, a 1.3MP front-facing shooter, a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.5GB RAM, and a 4,450 mAhh battery.
