Samsung has been pretty busy, at least that’s what Zauba’s records seem to indicate. The database has recently revealed that there are a slew of Samsung handsets that are headed to India for testing, and some of these devices have yet to be announced. In fact it also seems that one of the devices that is being tested is the rumored QHD version of the Samsung Galaxy S5.
This is evidenced in the model numbers that have been spotted which includes the SM-G906S and the Sm-G906K, with the former expected to make its way onto South Korean carrier SK Telecom, while the latter will also be for another Korean carrier, KT. Based on this it seems that we can only assume that the QHD version of the Galaxy S5 could see an initial launch in South Korea before heading to other markets.
Other devices spotted includes the SM-G800F which is expected to be the Galaxy S5 Neo variant, the SM-G870A which is the Galaxy S5 Active, the SM-Z9005 which is said to be Samsung’s upcoming Tizen handset, along with a bunch of other devices that includes tablets like the Galaxy Tab 4, and so on.
There’s no way to confirm if these devices are indeed what they claim to be since these are only rumors for now, but it’s safe to say that there are a ton of Samsung handsets being tested and hopefully we will learn more soon. We’re also not sure what to make of the QHD Galaxy S5 – after all we’re sure many customers would be miffed to learn that they could have spent their money on a QHD variant if they could, especially since Samsung did not officially confirm anything, but what do you guys think?
