When it comes to the Nokia Lumia 1820, there has been plenty said about it in the past, where many people did expect it to be unveiled at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, earlier this year. Too bad for the masses, the Nokia Lumia 1820 did not make an appearance then, but with Microsoft’s BUILD kicking off, there has been more whispers about the Nokia Lumia 1820 going around. In fact, a device that runs on Windows Phone 8 that sports the moniker Qualcomm LiQUID has been introduced on the GFXBench database.
Apparently, this particular device will run on the Snapdragon 805 CPU that will rely on new CPU cores (Krait 450) and a new GPU (Adreno 420). Apart from that, the detected resolution seemed to be rather odd at 800 x 1,422 pixels, which is higher than the 1,280 x 720 that was reported by the Nokia Lumia 1520. Considering how Nokia’s existing flagship smartphone already comes with a Full HD display, the Lumia 1820 might beat it out eventually with a QHD display as rumored earlier, although this detected resolution, as mentioned above, is far from the QHD’s 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. Ah well, only time will be able to tell, so do be patient. Which display do you think the Lumia 1820 will eventually arrive with out of the box?
