Mario Kart 8 is slated for a release on the 30th of May, and the good news for gamers is that if you were thinking about getting the game, you would be eligible to get yourself a free game as well. It seems that Nintendo will be offering gamers a free Wii U game for every copy of Mario Kart 8 that they buy.
All they’d have to do is buy the game, register their copy via the Club Nintendo website between the 30th of May and the 31st of July, and they’d be eligible to claim one of 10 titles available. These titles aren’t just your run of the mill titles either and do feature some pretty big names.
They include The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, New Super Mario Bros. U, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Game & Wario, Pikmin 3, The Wonderful 101, Sonic Lost World, Nintendo Land, Wii Party U, and Mario and Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games.
We’re not sure if this applies to the bundled version of the game. The bundled version, for those unfamiliar, is basically the Wii U Deluxe edition which comes with the console and a physical copy of the game. Since the bundle is a pretty good deal itself, we’re not sure if gamers will be able to redeem a free game with the version of Mario Kart 8 that comes with it.
