The Google Nexus 10 was launched back in 2012 meaning that it is due for a refresh, assuming Google plans on refreshing it at all. After all the Google Nexus 7 saw an update in 2013, so why wouldn’t Google update the Nexus 10, right?
In the past Google has said that they have no plans to restock the Nexus 10 if it is sold out which is why it is interesting to note that the Google Play Store now says, “Coming Soon” on the Google Nexus 10 product page.
According to earlier reports, some noticed that the Nexus 10 was listed as “We are out of inventory” which was later changed to “Coming soon”. Like we said earlier, Google did mention that they had no plans on restocking the Nexus 10 so by saying “Coming soon”, does it mean that Google has had a change of heart, or could it be that a newer Nexus 10 model will be replacing it instead?
Assuming the latter is true, when will we be able to look forward to the newer Nexus 10? After all Google I/O is still a couple of months away which does seem like a pretty long wait, but then again it is the perfect platform in which Google could use to announce new products, like a new Nexus 10, the rumored Nexus 8, and even the launch of a Google-made standalone camera app for Android devices.
In any case we will be keeping our eyes peeled for more information regarding a possible updated Nexus 10, so do check back with us at a later date to see if there are any additional details that can be had.
