Recently we have been hearing the rumors that Motorola could be working on a successor to the Moto X in the form of the Moto X+1. While the specs of the device remain unknown for now, one of the possible customizable options of the phone could include a leather finish in addition to a wooden finish which was one of the Moto X’s customizable backplate options.
Now thanks to a post by @evleaks, he has revealed a bunch of different colors and finishes that the Moto X+1 could be sporting when it is announced, which at this point in time is still something of a mystery, but hopefully we will hear something soon.
According to @evleaks, the customizable options are split into five different categories: Cool, Neutral, Warm, Wood, and Leather. Under Cool, the color options that will be available includes “Navy, Turquoise, Olive, Royal Blue, and Dark Teal”. Neutral will have “Slate, Purple, Smoke, Black, and Chalk”, while Warm will have colors such as “Red, Orange, Lemon, Violet, Crimson, Raspberry, and Cabernet”.
Under the Wood option, Motorola will provide woods such as Teak, Bamboo, Rosewood, and Ebony, while under Leather, there will be different colors to choose from such as Black, Red, Grey, and Blue. Just like the Moto X, it seems that the Moto X+1 could be getting a ton of customizable options as well presumably through Moto Maker. We’re not sure if Google will be launching the Moto X+1 or if that honor will fall to Lenovo who recently acquired Motorola Mobility from Google, but either way it’s definite a phone to keep an eye out for.
