More Huawei Ascend P7 Photos Leak Ahead Of Announcement

The Huawei Ascend P7 is expected to see a launch on the 7th of May and so far the handset is proving to be quite a badly kept secret, thanks to photo after photo of the handset making its way online. That being said we’re about a week away from its official launch and thanks to a bunch of freshly leaked photos, it looks like these are the clearest photos of the device we’ve seen yet.

We guess the photos don’t really show us what we didn’t already know, thanks to previous leaks, but the device does look pretty good. The phone also looks pretty glossy which might prove to be an issue, especially with fingerprints, but if you don’t mind getting your phone a little smudge-y then it’s a non-issue.

For those who might have missed out on our earlier coverage, the Huawei Ascend P7’s specs have yet to be confirmed. However what we have heard so far based on the rumors is that the Ascend P7 will be getting a 5-inch Full HD 1080p display. It has also been rumored to be powered by a quad-core processor of Huawei’s own making, 2GB of RAM, a 13MP rear-facing camera, a whopping 8MP front-facing camera, and will come with Huawei’s own Emotion UI on top of it.

Based on those specs, it certainly seems like Huawei’s Ascend P7 will be more than capable of holding its own with the flagship smartphones out there in the market today. Pricing and availability have yet to be determined but we’re guessing we’ll find out more at Huawei’s event on the 7th of May, so check back with us then for the details.
