Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition Arriving This May 16th
Minecraft is certainly an extremely popular game among the masses, where it has garnered plenty of ports across different platforms. Well, as just about everyone and their dog are aware, Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition has been made available to download from the PlayStation Store ever since the end of 2013, and it seems that this particular title is about to make the jump from the virtual over to the physical world. Yes sir, from May 16th onward, one is able to purchase an actual Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition retail disc if having a game box and the relevant documentation is part of your gaming experience, as it used to be over a decade ago.
Of course, Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition will arrive with a slew of features that one would expect from the console versions of Minecraft, in addition to everything else that arrived with update 14, where they include the likes of Emeralds, Ender Chests, and potatoes among others. As mentioned earlier this month too, the team over at 4J happen to be working on delivering Minecraft over to the PS4 and PS Vita platforms, which means that there will be even more folks who will hop aboard the Minecraft express when that happens. And that isn’t necessarily a bad thing, either. [Press Release]
