Minecraft is a game that safe to say is extremely popular. There are many reasons why people love the game. It could be that the ability to build up an entire world by yourself could have its appeal, or perhaps its somewhat retro graphics has a certain novelty value attached to it, but whatever your reason is for loving the game, it seems that there are millions around the world who love it just as much, if not more.
That being said, according to a recent post by Microsoft, they have revealed that Minecraft for the Xbox 360 has managed to cross the 12 million sold mark, which apparently makes it one of the most successful Xbox 360 games ever made. This is a huge leap from back in October 2012 where it was reported that the game for the Xbox 360 sold 4 million copies.
This was later improved to 10 million copies back in December of 2013, meaning that in about 4 months, the game managed to sell an additional 2 million copies, which is pretty impressive when you think about it. The game is still being updated and there be a Candy Texture Pack that is planned for a release on the 18th of April, joining other texture packs like the Skyrim texture pack.
