We’re not sure what it is with Android OEMs and creating mini versions of their handsets, but presumably there is a demand out there otherwise they wouldn’t have bothered, right? In any case the LG G3 mini rumors have started due to a “B2 mini” codename that has surfaced. Given that the LG G3 is expected to be known as the B2, the B2 mini is presumably the LG G3 mini.
That being said, the LG G3 mini has yet to be officially announced but in the meantime, here are some of its rumored specs. The handset will pack a 720p HD display, although the size of the display remains unknown. It will also run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat which is actually a good thing, and it will also pack an 8MP rear-facing camera, at least this is based on the resolution of the photos which sets it at 8MP.
Now we should note that none of this is official yet so take it with a grain of salt. There’s also no telling when LG will announce the LG G3 or the LG G3 mini for that matter, but what do you guys think? Should Android OEMs really cut down on the multitude of releases? Isn’t it getting a little bit overboard?
