LG G3 Japanese Market Variant Presumably Leaked Online

With HTC and Samsung already having released their 2014 flagships, all eyes are now on LG to make its move. Latest rumors suggest that the LG G3 might be released in July, but the company hasn’t officially confirmed anything as yet. Today press shots of a mysterious high-end LG smartphone appeared online, presumably it is the Japanese market variant of LG’s 2014 flagship.

The press shots were leaked online by infamous Twitter leaker @evleaks, who has been right about these things at numerous occasions in the past. As per the tweet accompanying press shots, this smartphone is called the LG isai and it is destined for KDDI in Japan. Apart from the moniker and carrier, nothing else has been revealed about the LG isai just yet. It is not known what this smartphone is packing under the hood.

Impressively the LG isai has ultra slim bezels, presumably to better accommodate the 5.5 inch 2K display. We exclusively reported earlier this week that LG’s next flagship is going to have a 2K display. Plus the fact that it has a volume rocker on the back, underneath the camera, makes it easier for us to believe that this is indeed a high-end LG smartphone.

Though we must be cautious with presumptions at this point since LG hasn’t confirmed anything as yet. For all we know this might be a smartphone that’s only destined for the Japanese market, and that it may bear no resemblance to the much awaited LG G3. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information.
