The event will be held in several locations at once where it will take place on the 27th and 28th of May in San Francisco, New York, London, Seoul, Singapore, and Istanbul. LG did not actually confirm that the device will be launched on those days, but given the invite above the the “G” in the quote has been stylized, we can only assume that this is probably LG G3-related.
So far what we know about the device is that it will feature a 2K display. There is also a good chance that LG could be using buttons on the back of the phone to help with navigation. There’s also an additional sensor on the back of the phone which we’re guessing could be an AF assist lamp – either that or it could be a fingerprint scanner, albeit it does seem to be a little small.
In any case we’re sure many are excited to see what LG can bring to the table with the LG G3, although we have to wonder how LG G Pro 2 customers are feeling to see their handset being outdone by a newer device by the same company only a few months after. Then again with Samsung rumored to launch the 2K Galaxy S5 Prime in June, we guess LG is probably trying to beat them to the punch.
