The LG G Flex, as its name suggests, does not only come in a curved design, it also had to be able to stand up to some rigorous tests during its development. Apparently, during its development process, they did test out the amount of pressure that the smartphone could take in when applied to the back, as well as the amount of pressure required to flatten the device, not to mention the total number of times that said amount of pressure is applied before the LG G Flex begins to show off physical signs of damage.
LG had pushed the LG G Flex to accept a 100 repetition set of 88 lbs., although 30 lbs. alone is already adequate enough to flatten the phone. After a thousand presses, the phone continued to work without a fault, even after it was tested for 1,000 presses during 88 lbs. of pressure. Eventually, when the pressure arrived at 1,000 lbs. due to the machine’s limit, the G Flex continued to function just fine. Now how about that for hardiness?
