LG D855 A Possible LG G3 Variant

Much has been said about the LG G3, which is set to be the next flagship smartphone from the South Korean consumer electronics giant, where we also do know that there will be several press events that will be held this coming May 27th which in all probability, would see the LG G3 revealed to the world. Well, there has also been a fair number of whispers going on in the past that point to the LG G3 arriving in different variants, where one of them could be the LG D855 that has recently picked up certification from Indonesia’s Postel. Indonesia’s Postel happens to be the country’s equivalent of the FCC, where the LG D855 made an appearance on April 22nd.

There’s no smoke without fire, right? Well, why is the LG D855 a strong candidate to be a possible LG G3 variant? It does have its very own User Agent profile over at LG’s website, which lists the display at 1080 x 1920 pixels at the moment, although it was originally mentioned that a Quad HD (1440 x 2560) display would be arriving on the LG G3. Perhaps this is a variant of the smartphone with lower hardware specifications, but with Android 4.4 2 KitKat and LTE connectivity in tow on the new LG D855, it does have a point to make in terms of being a variant.

Apart from that, there was at least another alleged LG G3 model, known as the LG D850, that came with an official UA profile as well that sported the listing of a 1440 x 2560 pixels display. Only time will be able to tell, so sit tight and wait!
