It does seem as though the nature of the flagship smartphone market has accelerated to such an extent where an annual refresh cycle does not sound crazy at all, leaving the general public to chase after the coat-tails of technological advancement so that they do not end up being left behind. Huawei, who recently outlined their plans to spend $300 million on marketing alone in 2014, has the Huawei Ascend P7 to follow up on the Ascend P6. @evleaks has tweeted about this new device.
In @evleaks’ tweet, it does seem as though the Huawei Ascend P7 “looks like the P6”, where the rumored specifications sheet point to a 5-inch 1080p display, a quad-core 1.8GHz Kirin 910T processor, a 13-megapixel shooter at the back with an 8-megapixel front facing camera that ought to keep selfie lovers happy, 16GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, 2GB RAM, a 2,500mAh battery, all crammed in a body that should not measure more than 7mm thick – or should I say, thin?
We have also heard other rumors concerning the Huawei Ascend P7 including having it roll out this coming May 7th, while having alleged leaked photos being circulated online, alongside a suspected metallic chassis of this charming handset. Image courtesy of PhoneDog.
