There have already been countless rumors about HTC One M8 mini. Last year’s flagship was also followed up with a mini variant so it won’t surprise anyone if HTC does the same this time around as well. Despite the countless rumors about this device we haven’t really seen a full image of it until today. A purported picture of the HTC One M8 mini has appeared online, being first posted on Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter.
In the image this device appears to have a protective case on, but from the looks of it, the HTC One M8 mini has the same design language as its high-end sibling. One major difference that is likely to catch everyone’s eye is the absence of HTC’s Duo Camera on the back. HTC One M8 has two rear cameras whereas the mini variant may very well have only one.
Rumor has it that while the HTC One M8 mini’s camera won’t have the company’s Ultrapixel technology it would still be an impressive 13 megapixel rear shooter. Other rumored features include a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quadcore processor with 1GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a 4.5-inch 720p display with Android 4.4 and Sense 6.0 UI slapped on top.
The smartphone is believed to be a Verizon exclusive in the U.S., and it would be released in other markets around the world as well. Since this is really the only picture of this device so far, its too soon to say if it really is the real deal. As per rumors the HTC One M8 mini might be launched next month.
