HP Slate 8 Pro 7650 Appears At The FCC
HP might be focused on the notebook and desktop markets a whole lot more compared to churning out tablets, but this does not mean that they have gotten away from the tablet game completely after all these years. There is the HP Slate 8 Pro which was first mentioned last year, in addition to entry level Android-powered tablets rolling out just last month. Having said that, the HP Slate 8 Pro that retails for $310 thereabouts in the US and comes with an 8” 1600 x 1200 pixel display, an NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 1GB RAM, and 16GB of internal memory might be getting a “sibling” soon, especially when an unannounced model known as the HP Slate 8 Pro 7650 has appeared on the FCC website.
It must be noted that majority of the documents concerning the HP Slate 8 Pro 7650 happened to be related to technical data concerning the tablet’s wireless capabilities, although there is one major difference between the FCC spotted model as well as the current HP Slate 8 Pro, and that would be, this new model would be powered by the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system version.
We do wonder how come it does not look as though HP is doing anything to increase the hardware capability and power of this FCC-bound tablet though.
