One of the great things about games these days is that developers tend to release DLCs. What this means is that once gamers have completed the game, there is a chance that they can look forward to additional content as opposed to having to wait for an expansion like back in the day, which in some cases could take a couple of years.
The good news is that if you’ve already burnt through all the content that Respawn’s Titanfall has to offer, you might be pleased to learn that Titanfall will be releasing its first DLC pack, Expedition, in May, but what about future DLCs, what can we expect from it? Speaking to VentureBeat, Respawn’s co-founder, Vince Zampella, laid out some of the company’s future DLC plans.
According to Zampella, gamers can look forward to additional modes being added to the game. Unfortunately these new modes will skip the first DLC, but they are expected to make their way into future DLCs. “It won’t make the initial DLC pack. The new maps will hold people off a little bit. We wanted to strike a balance of having people get through the content easily and also have enough content to play with. People burned through it pretty fast.”
So there you have it, if you thought that Titanfall could do with more game modes, future DLCs are what you will want to keep an eye out for. No word on when the next DLC will be released, but in the meantime here’s hoping that Expedition will be able to tide you guys over.
