Folks who live in Europe might be pleased to hear that they will soon be on the receiving end of a special edition Nintendo 2DS later this May. Of course, the Nintendo 2DS which was unveiled last year has not exactly burned up the hardware sales charts, but I guess one cannot fault the Japanese company for trying. Later this May, a special edition pink and white Nintendo 2DS would be revealed with Kirby: Triple Deluxe in tow.
It does seem as though the folks over at Nintendo are extremely fond of the color pink, considering how there is already a peach pink version of the Nintendo 2DS that is making its way to North America, and this new pink and white Nintendo 2DS looks a wee bit like an inverted version of the North American bound model.
According to the box art, this special edition Nintendo 2DS will not arrive with Kirby: Triple Deluxe regardless of the fact that the video game character matches the color perfectly. Those who are interested will have to fork out £110 for this particular model, where you have the option of rounding off the look while offering additional protection to your new handheld console with a new £8 silver Nintendo 2DS carrying case that is also due to arrive this May 16.
