Sony PlayStation 4 owners have been waiting on Driveclub for quite some time now. It was supposed to be a launch title for this next generation console but back in October 2013 it was confirmed that Driveclub PS4 release date had been pushed into early 2014. Since then there hasn’t been much talk about the title, which is certainly one of the most hotly anticipated games for Sony’s new console. Fortunately a full update on the title is expected in the near future.
It has been announced on the official Driveclub Facebook page that fans will soon be brought up to speed with the development of this title. The developers say that they are “immensely proud” of how the game continues to develop and they’re confident that fans will have the same view once they get to see it.
The announcement on the page also says that we should expect and official release date, full game details as well as new videos “in the weeks to come.” Still no concrete release timeframe though, so one can only guess when Driveclub PS4 release is actually going to take place.
Meanwhile PS4 owners anxiously wait for April 30th when Sony will finally push out PS4 update 1.70. The update makes it easy to digitally download copies of pre-ordered games. It will also come with SHAREfactory, an app that provides advanced options for editing recorded gameplay footage.
