After all, it makes sense for AUO to parade this 5.7” WQHD AMOLED display considering how Samsung themselves already have plans to deliver a 5.2” WQHD AMOLED display to the market in the near future, and you can be sure that competition is going to heat up in due time. On technical terms, that display from Samsung will be sharper than AUO’s offering, sporting 560 pixels per inch as opposed to 513 pixels per inch, but the moment you pass the 500 pixels per inch mark, it is going to get pretty difficult in telling the difference using your naked eye.
Other smartphones in the market that feature LCD screens at the same display resolution include the likes of the Vivo Xplay3S and Oppo Find 7. AMOLED displays claim to have the advantage of showing off vibrant colors and sporting a better contrast with darker shades of black. What do you think of AMOLED displays?
