The Samsung Galaxy S5 is one of the hottest Android smartphones at the moment. This can probably be attributed to the success of the Galaxy S Android lineup to date, that and the fact that Samsung chose to announce it during MWC instead of later at an event of their own probably helped speed up the process as well.
That being said there are many out there who would be more than willing to put money down for a Galaxy S5 and come 21st of March, you will be able to do so if you plan on being a customer with US Cellular.
The carrier has recently announced that they will begin taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S5 on the 21st of March where the phone is expected to be available on the 11th of April, which is pretty much the same for everyone else.
However to make the deal more tempting, US Cellular has also announced that customers who pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be eligible to receive a $50 Google Play promotional code which we guess can be used towards the purchase of apps, music, books, or other Google devices.
US Cellular has also stated that the 11th of April is also when we can look forward to Samsung’s wearables being made available as well, like the Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo, and the Gear Fit. The handset, according to US Cellular, will be priced at $199.99 with a new two-year contract with the carrier.
US Cellular’s choice to launch pre-orders on the 21st of March lines up with AT&T’s plans as well where the carrier is also expected to begin taking pre-orders later today. T-Mobile on the other hand has announced their pre-orders to begin on the 24th of March where they will be running a $0 downpayment promotion until the end of the month. So, any takers?
