Toshiba 4K Satellite P50t Laptops Set To Arrive

We have seen how Toshiba rolled out their range of laptops in the past, and this time around, what has been revealed at CES 02014 in January earlier this year looks set to arrive in the US before summer hits. Take the Satellite 50t for instance – this 2.2kg laptop might be rather heavy in comparison to the slew of Ultrabooks that are in the market these days, but there is a very good reason for the additional weight. After all, we are talking about a 4K display with 282 pixels per inch (ppi) at 3,840 x 2,160 resolution, displayed in a 15.6-inch touchscreen format.

A 2GB AMD Radeon R9 M265 graphics chipset will run proceedings from within, where there is also an Intel Core-i7 processor, 16GB RAM, a quartet of USB 3.0 ports, an SD/SDHC memory card slot, Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11ac WiFi connectivity; and Windows 8.1 as the operating system of choice.

Apart from that, there is also the Toshiba S50 laptop as well as the S70 laptop. There will be no 4K displays on either, as you can settle for 720p, 900p or 1080p displays alongside optional touch capability, with a choice between the Intel HD or AMD Radeon R9 discreet graphics.
