According to the listing, the SM-T700 will pack an 8.4-inch display and will come with a resolution of 2560×1600, similar to that of the SM-T850. Effectively this gives the tablet an impressive pixel density of around 359ppi which is pretty impressive as far as tablets are concerned. To give you guys some perspective, the iPad mini with Retina display only has a pixel density of 324ppi.
As far as the rest of the other specs of the tablet is concerned, the listing has revealed that the SM-T700 will pack an octa-core Exynos 5 chipset clocked at 1.9GHz. This setup will utilize ARM’s big.LITTLE architecture which means that four of the cores will be of the A15 variety, while the other four will be of the A7 variety and will be used to power applications that might not need as much juice (think messages, emails, web browsing, and so on).
The SM-T700 will also come packing 2GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage and a 7MP rear-facing camera, with a 2MP front-facing camera, and will also run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. No word on when Samsung will be taking the wraps off the SM-T700 but hopefully we will learn more about the device soon, how it looks like, how much it will cost, and when it will be made available.
