Some leaked specifications for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom smartphone were revealed more than a week ago, where those alleged hardware specifications were garnered from the GFXBenchmark database. Well, this time around, some more specs concerning the Galaxy S5 Zoom have been leaked, although it will not be as authoritative as any benchmark result. In fact, it would be highly suspicious, since what we have is just a handwritten note on a good old sheet of paper. Talk about old school!
This particular Galaxy S5 Zoom leak hails all the way from Poland, which does have some credibility since Samsung does happen to own a relatively large research and development center near Warsaw, and Poland has proven to divulged some information in the past before.
The handwritten specs point to a quad-core 1.6 GHz CPU, a 4.8″ display with HD resolution, and 2GB RAM, which will run on the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat version. It is also touted to arrive with a 20MP camera at the back which boasts of 10x optical zoom and Xenon flash.
Apart from that, it does seem as though the Galaxy S5 Zoom will be slimmer than its predecessor, and the lens is said to be “much better hidden in the casing” – which is definitely a good thing, of course.
