gs5-teardownIt ought to be known by just about everyone right now that the new Samsung Galaxy S5 will not be released internationally until April 11 ambles along, although mobile carriers in South Korea had gone ahead by defying orders to delay sales of this flagship device, puzzling even Samsung in the process. Well, while we wait for the Galaxy S5 to be released, a Russian website known as Ferra claims that they have already disassembled a Galaxy S5 unit, allowing the world to check out what it looks like from within.

The report did mention that it is rather difficult to remove the display of the Galaxy S5, as Samsung has relied on a special kind of adhesive in order to keep the display panel attached to the rest of the body as strongly as possible. It looks like heating up the Galaxy S5 a bit could help melt away the glue, making the display easier to remove.

Should you be successful in doing so, the teardown begins to gather speed from there, although it is said that the entire exercise in the hands of a skilled person should easily take more than an hour, too. The battery on this device is said to be elongated, just like what Apple uses on their latest iPhones.
