Smartphone manufacturers like Samsung have come up with a “mini” version of their flagship models in the past, which does not work as though it was some sort of miniaturized version of the real deal, as some of its bits and pieces have been downsized or are not up to par. I suppose users are able to live with that, and the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini, which has been in circulation for 17 months now, has received yet another iteration in the form of the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini Value Edition, where it has already gone on sale if you happen to live in the land that is full of windmills, that is, the Netherlands.
Just what will be different with the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini Value Edition when it arrives on a store shelf near you? For starters, the handset will end up with a newer Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system version, in addition to a speedier dual-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A9 processor to keep things running nice and smooth. As for the rest of the hardware specifications, everything else will remain the same as it is since the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini was released. Expect the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini Value Edition to arrive in stores in the Netherlands with a price tag of approximately €180. It remains to be seen whether this overclocked edition will arrive in other markets or not.
