The “entertainment” (if you can call it that, of course) that night was designed and programmed by U.K. artist Giles Walker. This is definitely not the first time that Walker has worked on a gyrating humanoid, considering he unveiled the first of such creations a couple of years back. Not only that, such a robot is not going to come cheap, although it is going to be a surefire attention grabber, as they cost $40,000 a pop per rental. The thing is, you are not going to see this robotic stripper start throwing nuts and bolts in your direction, as it would most probably invoke a sense of anger (and pain) if you were hit by one of those.
