Over the past few months we have seen several concepts of what people believe Apple’s next generation iPhone is going to look like. Recently alleged schematics were leaked, offering us a glimpse of the possible design. Today we get to feast out eyes on purported iPhone 6 rear casing pictures. Apparently they have emerged from a Foxconn facility in China. For those of you who don’t know, Foxconn happens to be one of Apple’s biggest manufacturing partners.
The pictures were posted on Sina Weibo, its China’s equivalent of Twitter. Since the purported casing isn’t being compared to an existing iPhone, its hard to get a true sense of its dimensions. As far as rumors are concerned, iPhone 6 is going to come with a bigger display, which means that it longer and wider.
One photo also contains what appears to be schematics for the iPhone 6. From the looks of it, Apple won’t be shuffling the few buttons on the iPhone around. Even the headset jack and Lightning connector seem to retain their old places.
Recently rumors have been mounting that Apple is priming the supply chain for mass production of the iPhone 6. Its possible that work might be underway at Foxconn. There’s also the possibility that the casing we see here might belong to an iPhone 6 clone. China is known for knock-offs, which are often released even though the major manufacturer is yet to make an announcement.
