Presumably if Apple sticks with its traditional release cycles, the new iPhone won’t be coming until Fall. However, there have already been many rumors about the iPhone 6, some believe Apple might launch it early this year, possibly in Summer. It is believed that the display size will be finally bumped up this year, and now a purported iPhone 6 front panel has leaked online which hints at just that. Though it is a bit too soon for components of the next generation iPhone to surface, usually when things like these come up so soon its possible that they’re not the real deal.
As the rumors go, Apple is due to launch a 4.7 inch iPhone 6 along with a 5-inch plus iPhone phablet this year. However, this front panel suggests something different. Even though it has radically slimmer bezels, it appears that the display size in this panel can’t exceed 4.3 inches. It is quite possible that this panel belongs to a prototype that Apple has been testing.
A few months back it was rumored that Apple is playing around with various display sizes for its next generation iPhone, so its highly likely that this panel could belong to one such prototype. It is too soon to say right now exactly what the iPhone 6 is going to bring, but one thing is for sure though, the rumors won’t stop coming in no matter how far off the launch may be.
