If you happen to own the Sony PS Vita handheld console, then you might be pleased as punch to hear that the PS Vita itself will soon be on the receiving end of half a dozen new video apps, where three of them will already be available today for your enjoyment. From today onwards, PS Vita owners will have the luxury of downloading the Crunchyroll app in order to stream anime, with the NHL GameCenter Live being made available to stream out-of-market hockey games with a subscription; as well as Quello, a service that streams concerts and music documentaries.
But that is not all just yet. Later this spring, however, the PS Vita will be on the receiving end of apps for Gaiam TV, where among them include fitness and yoga classes, Hulu Plus that will offer streaming network television with a subscription next week, in addition to Redbox Instant by Verizon, where it will arrive with a free month of movies for new subscribers, now how about that for portable entertainment?
