Now according to a report from the Korea Herald, carriers around the world are reportedly contemplating releasing the handset ahead of schedule as well and that AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, and T-Mobile have been named as some of the carriers planning on doing just that.
The report suggests that these carriers could be planning an early release as well although no specific dates were mentioned, but presumably it will be before the 11th of April. While this is good news for those looking forward to getting their hands on the handset, this could prove problematic for Samsung who might end up being supply constrained.
As it stands Samsung’s factories are running non-stop in order to churn out as many units as possible in order to meet potential demand, so if carriers were to release the device earlier, Samsung might not have enough units to meet the demand, thus potentially leading to delays and supply shortages.
There has been no confirmation yet so try not to get your hopes up but either way we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for more information, so stay tuned for more updates.
