A smartphone that’s due to be unveiled in China in the near future has been hitting up the rumor mill quite a lot recently and has been generating a crazy amount of buzz. Oppo’s 2014 flagship, the Find 7, has been rumored many times and even the company has been teasing it for the past few weeks. There was one rumor that suggested that two variants of the Find 7 will be unveiled, and that is exactly what’s going to happen. The company took to its Weibo account and revealed that there will indeed be two very different variants of the Oppo Find 7.
In the teaser image posted on its Weibo account, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter, the company reveals that one variant is going to have a 1,920×1080 pixel resolution display whereas the other variant is going to have the much talked about “2K” 2,560×1,440 pixel resolution display. The display sizes will be the same on both variants.
Other rumors suggest that the 2K display touting Find 7 is going to be powered by a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quadcore processor whereas the 1080p display variant will have the 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. Oppo hasn’t confirmed these specifications as yet, but seeing as how its going to finally lift the wraps off on March 19th, we don’t have to wait that long.
