Could this bit of news bode well for the console? After all, it did not make too much of a splash after it was announced despite the fanfare that surrounded it right at the very beginning. Apart from the price cut, NVIDIA claims that they are currently working on an upcoming software update which will enable owners to stream and play games from their home PC over any Wi-Fi connection with a minimum bandwidth of 5Mbps, compared to just from their home network. There will also be support for Bluetooth keyboard and mouse hooking up to it in the upcoming April 2nd update, so it is definitely something that is worth looking at. Last but not least, NVIDIA claims that they want to introduce a new version of its GeForce Experience desktop software in order for any PC app to be streamed over to the Shield, now how about that?
Oh yeah, picking up the Shield now is also a good idea considering Portal is about to be ported over, too.
