BlackBerry owners who find the cloud a fascinating place for you to stash away your collection of files and content will be pleased to hear that BlackBerry World now carries their very own Microsoft OneDrive app. The OneDrive app has already arrived on other platforms, Android included, where you will be able to determine whether you would want to have pictures as well as videos saved there automatically. Apart from photos and videos, one can also opt to share other important files and documents, too. This particular app would pave the way for the user to edit documents, or to even drop a comment or two on them while you are on the move – which can prove crucial in the business environment. Last but not least, one is able to work with online files on your BlackBerry 10 handset directly, now how about that?
The Microsoft OneDrive is currently a free download, where new users who jump aboard will be on the receiving end of 7GB of free storage. Apart from that, you will be able to benefit from 500MB of free storage each time you refer a new friend, up to a maximum of 10 referrals, or 5GB. Should you configure your BlackBerry smartphone to automatically send photos and videos to OneDrive, Microsoft would grant you another 3GB of free cloud based storage.
