The LG L70 was first announced before Mobile World Congress 2014 kicked off in Barcelona, Spain, earlier this year, where the LG L70 was specially released in order to take over from where the LG Optimus L7 II left off. As for the hardware specifications, we should not expect anything on the high end side of things, so this particular handset will have to settle down as something on the mid-range scale, featuring a 4.5″ WVGA IPS display, a dual-core Snapdragon 200 chipset, 4GB of internal memory as well as an 8MP camera that is located at the back.
During the official announcement of the LG L70, there was no mention on its official pricing or availability, although there has been several retailers out there who have already begun to take down pre-orders for the smartphone. Amazon DE, who among other German retailers, has placed a €179 price tag on the LG L70’s pre-order, while Clove UK intends for you to part with £165 for the LG L70. ePrice of Taiwan has it on pre-order for approximately $163 after conversion.
Again, no official release date for the pre-order has been set just yet, although it would not be surprising to see the LG L70 roll out by the time April 1st arrives.
