Such features are available to Android phones that have been flashed with custom ROMs and tweaks, but for those unfamiliar with the process or do not want to do so, we guess KnockOn is a good alternative.
Now the good news is that it looks like LG will begin rolling out the KnockOn feature to some of their lower-mid ranged handset, like the LG Optimus L2 II, LG Optimus L3 II, LG Optimus L5 II, LG Optimus L7 II, and the Optimus L7 II’s dual SIM counterpart.
This rollout was confirmed by LG Australia and it is expected that the update will be pushed out starting from today and will be completed by the end of the month through a maintenance release.
We’re not sure if the announcement by LG Australia has any significance, as in if Australia will be the first market to get the feature or if it will be rolled out to all LG handsets mentioned above simultaneously, but if you have received the update with the KnockOn feature, let us known in the comments below!
