This would be a departure from what they are used to rolling out, and Shao Yang, Huawei’s CMO, has already gone on record to state that Huawei will back Windows Phone, albeit Microsoft’s mobile operating system will still hold a lower priority in Huawei’s books as opposed to Google’s Android. I am quite sure that this would make Google happy, but will the search engine giant be 100% pleased with this development? After all, when there were whispers of a dual booting ASUS Transformer Book Duet that plays nice with Windows and Android, it was rumored that Google pressured ASUS to kill that particular device from their product range.
Perhaps there is something that we do not know just yet, which has allowed Google to give Huawei the green light. Do you think such a dual booting device will succeed in the U.S.?
