The HTC One M8 is probably one of the more beautiful Android smartphones that we’ve seen to date. Its hardware specs are also pretty powerful and should hold up against the competition, which is why it isn’t surprising to learn that the HTC One M8 is proving to be quite a hit in its home of Taiwan.
According to a report from Focus Taiwan, it seems like the HTC One M8 is proving to be a very popular handset amongst consumers. While specific sales figures was not released, a local distributor has reported that orders for the handset have been doubling every day and that demand is apparently higher than supply right now.
The HTC One M8 was similarly released in the US and the UK on the 25th of March although we have not heard anything about supply constraints just yet. It is possible that consumers are waiting on the other flagship phones from the likes of LG, Sony, and Samsung to be released before making their decision.
In any case the general consensus so far seems to be that the HTC One M8 is a very promising handset, although there are some who aren’t particularly happy about HTC’s choice of camera, but at the end of the day we guess it’s really up to the user to decide if having the best camera is a priority, or other features are more important.
