This could potentially cut down the time spent searching for phone numbers and is pretty handy, since a business’s name will also show up in the caller ID, letting you know who is calling. The good news is that if you don’t have Android 4.4 KitKat but would like that feature, the folks at CyanogenMod will be adding that feature into their latest nightlies.
CyanogenMod’s feature acts similar to that of Android 4.4 KitKat and will allow users for businesses in a relatively straightforward manner, however if there is one feature that they have that stock Android doesn’t, is the ability to select which provider you’d like to pull the contacts from.
This feature has yet to make its way into the stable versions of CyanogenMod meaning that unless you don’t mind giving the nightlies a try, you will just have to wait until the developers are done and decided that the release is stable enough to release to the general public.
Of course there are alternatives that one can check out, like OmniRom, who announced the feature earlier this year, or you could just wait for your OEM to update your phone to the latest Android build.
