BlackBerry is not a company that is in a position of strength at this point in time, especially when they have seen how their market share in the smartphone world has shrunk to dismal levels that were previously unthought of back in their heyday. Well, we have seen an alleged leak of a BlackBerry 10.3 screenshot before, and here we are with additional details on the alleged BlackBerry 10.3 leak that claims to shed more light on upcoming BlackBerry devices, including their names.
Leaked information do point to a possible new high-end flagship smartphone that could be released alongside with the next version of BlackBerry’s mobile operating system. The alleged device supposedly features a quad-core Snapdragon 800 SoC that has been clocked at between 1.9GHz to 2.6GHz, alongside a Full HD 5” OLED display. Should this be true, it would mark BlackBerry’s first foray into the Full HD display smartphone world, and it could arrive in a trio of various variations, codenamed Euphrates, Tigris, and Mjölnir. Musket is also another name that has been thrown into the mix, where it will run on an octa-core Exynos 5410 SoC.
Other leaked names include the BlackBerry Ontario, the Windermere, and the Khan (P’9983). One thing’s for sure and confirmed though – BlackBerry CEO John Chen ain’t too happy with leakers and intend to keep things close to his vest from now on until the opportune moment.
