Waiting can be a rather strong feeling, where one feels the need to do something and yet nothing good would come out of the situation either as patience is drawn upon. Since BlackBerry announced the BlackBerry 10.2.1 update at the end of January, we are pleased to take note that Verizon has begun to introduce the new software to its BlackBerry Z10, BlackBerry Q10 and BlackBerry Z30 smartphones.
The BlackBerry 10.2.1 update happens to be a rather hefty one quite unlike Nokia’s latest Lumia 1520 update, where it will deliver major new features such as a customizable Quick Settings menu, a simplified Phone UI, the ability to install Android APK files directly from the browser, and email of File Manager among others.
BlackBerry 10.2.1 will obviously be a major update for any user who has been rocking to BlackBerry 10 device every single day, so it is nice to see Verizon finally making it available close to two months after the initial announcement. Should you happen to be in possession of a Verizon BlackBerry Z10, BlackBerry Q10 or BlackBerry Z30, then pick up the smartphone, head into Settings > Software Updates > Check for Updates and see what Santa has in store for you. So far, there has been no complaints about BlackBerry 10.2.1, so it should be all peaches and cream.
