Developers often have no patience of locked bootloaders, bloatware and carrier delays of latest software updates. Which is why certain manufacturers launch variants of their popular mobile devices that are geared towards the folks who make the apps and games that we love. Earlier today the All New HTC One was unveiled. It is already available for purchase through major U.S. carriers. Don’t worry, HTC didn’t forget about the developers.

The All New HTC One Developer Edition is now available for purchase from the company’s website. It will work on any GSM and HSPA+ network around the globe. In the U.S., this particular variant is compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile. Developers get an unlockable bootloader as well as stock Sense UI.

Nothing else is different in this particular variant. It still has a 5-inch full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, dual-rear cameras and a 2,600mAh battery. The All New HTC One Developer Edition only comes in 32GB, so there will be ample storage available onboard.

The company is also going to launch a Google Play Edition variant of its new flagship. The product page has already gone live on the Google Play Store. It too will come with an unlockable bootloader, and will feature vanilla Android, meaning that its user interface won’t be tweaked by the company.
